Our Mission :

To empower youth to be active members of the community while strengthening the community's support of healthy youth development.
How: After-school programs, parent groups, community teams, retreats & camps, community programs, partnership building, strategic planning, program marketing, skill building, youth perspectives about the community.

Objectives :

To support community groups, organizations, and members to build assets in schools, churches, youth organizations, and communities throughout the area.

How :

Presentations to youth and adults, education to reduce risk taking behavior, resources and information for communities, community and employee education, fundraising and grant writing for youth issues.

High Expectations is run by a board that is made of :

50% of members under age 30
At least 2 members 21 or under
Youth Serving Organizations
Youth-friendly Adults

COMMITTED MEMBERS :
The committed members of "High Expectations" include :
Community Youth, Area Businesses, Area Churches, Youth Organizations, Foster Care Parents, Law Enforcement, Schools, with many more to come!
